My dear friend and all time fav. producers/djs/live performer is back with a banging set on The Lucid Podcast. As one half of techno legends LFO as well as a solo artist G-Man responsible for some of the best music pieces in techno history.
Thank you, dear Gez for your ever amazing music, the projects we’ve worked on together and your kind words and support.
Interview:
1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?
It Just depends on the mood i am in.. normally I like to play around on my set up for a few hours everyday even if its just for fun.. sometimes I will record it and other times i wont .
2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in / what keeps you from being creative?
Yeah its easy to get distracted when working from home… normally I switch the phone off and lock the door to my room….
Well if i have been out the night before and did not get much sleep then i find it really hard to work and if you have a hang over its virtually impossible.
3. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?
I first heard of Lucidflow from Nadja Lind as we were already friends for some time and also swapping remixes with each other … I really like the record label .Its really one of the best at the moment for deep house stuff.
4. Lucidflow: Tell us one of your greatest wishes:
I wish for world peace but I really can see this happening for a few thousand years . I feel we still have a long way to go with evolution until we reach are true form as humans .
5. Lucidflow: If you had an infinite amount of time and money what would you do?:
I would build and run music schools for poor kids to learn music and recording …and also any other types of media like film and television .I feel there is very little investment in this area at the moment from most countries
6. Who is your personal hero and why?
Spartacus … as he lead an army of slaves against the mighty roman empire and almost defeated them.
7. Lucidflow: Anything else you’d like to spread to the Lucid world?
We need more peace and understanding in the world .. maybe through our music we can send people in the right direction.
