First and foremost, a heartfelt thanks to all of you who have been part of the Lucidflow journey over 2015. Each year the bar is set a little bit higher and each year it is thoroughly smashed. None of this would be possible without you being there every step of the way.

With no time for slacking, the next jam packed EP comes from Little Helpers artist Manuel De Lorenzi, who presents the five tracker Ecstasy. The title track brings all the positivity of its namesake with yearning chords that stretch out into the stars.

Similarly, Another Day effortless drifts through a vacuum, as if propelled through space, with the disembodied vocal snippets and melodic elements reverberating in the endless ink.

Of course there is the need to get down and dirty. 50 Seconds snare/clap combination sounds more like a milk bottle in a bag being struck by a hammer, whipping through the deep dark trance of the track.

The, departing from space bound tones, Landing heads for paranoia. The percussion creeps up and down your neck, making you shiver, accompanied by all the sounds of the graveyard you pray never to hear in real life – clanking chains, distant echoes and whispering groans.

And, to act as the sorbet, the final track, Against You, rounds off the release with the most direct moment of the lot. The percussion is bright and sparky, a distorted echoing diva adlibs over the top of musical tones that straddle genres as it dances its way across disco, prog and funk.

We’ll see you in 2016, this is just the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
