HAPPY NEW YEAR to you dear Lucid Friends. We are back with some fresh pleasure from our freshest Lucid Artist – Jon Donson. Check out his interview and not to forget his new release on Lucidflow LF050 ‘LaCle’ – it’s totally awesome!!!
1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?
In the mornings I turn on the gear in my studio and just go with the flow especially if I had some great encounters and experiences e.g. with friends or a wicked and inspiring gig.
2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in being creative?
What hinders me the most is boring paper work and fighting with authorities and bureaucracy. Thankfully these days are rare. :-)
3. Lucidflow: how do you support y ourself in being creative?
I am most inspired by the nights I perform gigs where I get direct response on my own productions or also on certain tunes that give me new ideas. Besides that I am a big Jazz fan. This is also where I get inspiration from.
4. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?
Lucidflow has been regularly in my record bags for a long time and I’ve been eagerly listening to every single release they drop where I mostly find even several tracks on each EP that I play out.
Lucidflow stands for quality and this is what I fancy big time. Recently I had the pleasure to meet Nadja in person and we clicked immediately. I then plucked up my courage and sent her some of my own productions and I am very grateful and proud of my first EP ‘LaCle’ on Lucidflow which was released 21st Dec. 2013. I’d be really glad to be on Lucidflow again in future.
5. Lucidflow: Tell us one of your greatest wishes:
My greatest wish is to continue making music and to be able to do whatever makes me happy.
6. Lucidflow: If you had an infinite amount of time and money what would you do:
I’d buy 3 houses in different places each with a phat studio and would be enjoying my life together with my girlfriend.
7. Lucidflow: Anything else you would spread to the Lucid world?
Let music talk. It’s the universal language that makes everyone happy.
